CORE DRILLING

Americore technicians are trained to Core Drill holes through any type of aggregate, whether it be on the floor or on the wall.  Americore has the ability to Diamond Core Drill holes with a capacity of 1/8” up to 36” in diameter.  We have never walked away from a difficult hole and we never will.  Americore carries several types of Core Drill rigs to get in the tightest of areas to core drill.  Difficult ones take us a day, the impossible ones take a little longer.  We provide holes of any diameter and at any depth you require.  Holes may be Core Drilled for several reasons – the most common reason for Core Drilling a hole through a floor or wall is for pipe passage for example:

  • Plumbing Pipes
  • Electrical Conduits
  • Sprinkler Pipes
  • HVAC Ducts
  • Data Wiring
  • Risers and Stacks
  • Anchor Bolts
  • Stitch Drilling

FLAT SAWING

Flat Saw Cutting is the process of cutting concrete slabs with a diamond blade.  The most common method of flat sawing is using a push behind Roadsaw to cut pavement over concrete or to create a trench or opening through a concrete slab.  We can provide our customers with several options when it comes to Flat Sawing.  We are equipped to Sawcut using gas, electric, or hydraulics.  We are able to cut up to 30” in depth with Diamond Blades, for deeper cutting we would have to use the Wire Saw.  Saw Cutting provides an advantage when breaking concrete is not allowed.  Saw Cutting is the easiest, cleanest, quietest and most cost effective way to cut concrete.  Our customers rely on us to Sawcut for several purposes.  Here are a few:

  • Road/Pavement Work (Street and Sewer)
  • Plumbing and Electrical Trenches
  • HVAC Duct and Vent Floor Opening
  • Renovations (New Staircase, Elevator)
  • Bridges and Highway Demolition
  • Precast Concrete Cutting

HAND SAWING:

Over the last 15 years, Hand Sawing has become more effective in the Concrete Cutting Industry.  Engineers have designed handheld operated saws that can create cuts through heavily reinforced concrete slabs and walls.  They are most efficient when there is a need to make an opening through slabs that are crowded and hard to work in spaces.

They are designed to cut depths of up to 24” through concrete, brick or block.  They are extremely useful for opening up walls and slabs for:

  • Ducts
  • Windows
  • Beam Pockets
  • Lentils and Louvers

WALL SAWING

When creating openings through heavily reinforced concrete walls, no machine is safer and quicker than the Wall Saw.  The Wall Saw machine was designed to cut concrete walls with precision and perfection.  The machine slides on a track that is anchored to the face of the wall.  With premium diamond blades we are able to cut through the strongest concrete with heavy reinforcement and can cut up to 33” deep.  We can provide Wall Saw service for exterior and interior work environments.  We also have a remote control Wall Saw for hard to reach locations and unsafe work zones.  We have over 20 years experience of cutting with these machines so call us today for a quote if you are in need of a:

  • Door Opening
  • Window Opening
  • Deep Cutting
  • Foundation Correction
  • Structural Removal
  • Concrete Beams and Column Demolition
  • Bank Vaults

When demolition noise becomes a hassle on the job, give us a call for a vibration free, no dust, noise controlled alternate solution.  Just a few advantages of Concrete Cutting.

WIRE SAWING

The newest of Concrete Cutting methods to the industry is the Wire Saw.  Americore Concrete Cutting provides this service for cutting walls, slabs, columns, beams or practically any structural design no matter how thick or strong the substance is.  A beaded wire designed with diamond inserts is stretched around the area to cut and is guided by pulleys to create any shape or directional cut that is desired.

Where the Wall Saw is not able to get the job done, the Wire Saw can cut almost anything.  The high volume of diamond concentration in the wire bead allows Americore Concrete Cutting technicians to make any size, any depth, cut through any aggregate.  Extremely helpful for removal of materials that can not be chopped or burned.  The Wire Saw can be applied to any type of working environment and is completely safe.  Americore Concrete Cutting has certified and trained operators at your service.

DEMOLITION

Americore Concrete Cutting has evolved into a minor demolition contracting company over the years.  We are able to compete with our peers.  We have the experience and the know-how to operate concrete breaking machines for interior alterations.  When Concrete Cutting is not needed, we offer excellent demolition services to provide a safe work environment.
